Job Description

This role works directly with our Business Communications Solutions group, promoting and selling the organization's products and services within an assigned product range or list of new and existing customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets. The primary sales focus will be on Websites, Apps' Services, and Statement Printing products related to banking, healthcare, wealth management, mortgage, insurance, and utility clients.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Pursuing sales leads; visiting existing and new customers of strategic importance
  2. Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products and services
  3. Responding to complex customer inquiries; negotiating prices and delivery times within authority limits, and closing sales to meet revenue targets
  4. Identifying, researching, and contacting prospective customers to build positive relationships for future sales
  5. Referencing sales leads, customer feedback, and competitor activity to internal teams for market responsiveness
  6. Developing long-term sales plans for key customers and monitoring activities to meet objectives
  7. Establishing and prioritizing sales plans and activities to meet targets
  8. Coaching and mentoring less experienced sales staff
  9. Recommending additional solutions and services to clients, highlighting product advantages
  10. Partnering with internal teams to deliver targeted outcomes timely
  11. Providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
  12. Accurately forecasting sales and maintaining records in Salesforce.com
  13. Performing other duties and participating in special projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree related to the role or at least 5 years of relevant sales experience
  • Knowledge of RR Donnelley Products & Services preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting to C-Level and senior management
  • Knowledge of the sales cycle and ability to make cold calls daily
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Business acumen and collaborative problem resolution skills
  • Effective communication across all organizational levels
  • Participation in ongoing training and a desire for continuous learning about RRD's offerings
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce.com
Additional Information

This is a salary plus commission role, with a current range of $50,000 to $150,000 annually, plus unlimited commission potential. Compensation may vary based on location, education, skills, and performance.
