Job summary

Engtal, a leading manufacturer of advanced simulation and test equipment, seeks a Sales Engineer for the Pittsburgh, PA team. You will develop and manage complex equipment proposals for simulation and test systems across defense, aerospace, automotive, and consumer product labs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience and strong technical aptitude. Industry-specific experience is not required, and the role offers significant uncapped bonus potential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of capital equipment sales experience.
• Strong technical, communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
• Experience with rotating equipment, servo systems, or motion control is a plus.
• Defense or government customers experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual sales and bookings targets.
• Develop relationships with customers to drive equipment, services, and turnkey solution sales.
• Review requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to develop proposals, specs, and pricing.
• Develop territory growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Attend trade shows and customer meetings to generate new business.
• Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales records.
• Travel approximately 25% to support customers and events.
