Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience in applications engineering.
• Combination of education and professional experience may be considered in place of degree.

Responsibilities

• Review customer documentation and analyze applications to understand requirements.
• Engage with customers to determine motion system needs.
• Recommend motion components or systems to solve customer applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for customer applications.
• Develop technical content for white papers and application notes.
• Deliver technical presentations to current customers and potential prospects.
• Prepare detailed proposals, cost estimates and pricing for projects.
• Perform product and/or application testing.
• Manage post-sales activities for custom jobs.
