Job summary

The MJ Companies is seeking an experienced sales professional with 3–10 years in risk management or sales to consult with clients, identify opportunities, and execute strategic plans. You will build trusted relationships with decision makers, mentor new producers, and collaborate with internal teams to maximize revenue while navigating industry regulations.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree and a Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• 3–10 years in risk management or sales.
• Experience mentoring new sales team members.
• Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand business needs and identify opportunities.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities; create and execute strategy independently driving results.
• Demonstrate knowledge of client industries, terminology, and regulatory trends.
• Build and nurture relationships with key decision makers; sustain partnerships over the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with internal resources to maximize sales opportunities and exceed expectations.
• Represent The MJ Companies at industry events and carrier forums.
• Mentor junior producers to develop their sales capabilities.
