Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. seeks a Risk Placement Specialist to support the sales process, renewals and client retention. You will develop renewal strategies, engage with carriers, and place policies with the best carriers while coordinating with sales and service teams.

The role requires a Property & Casualty license, 7+ years of renewal experience, and strong MS Office and communication skills. AI tools may be used to enhance client service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license required in domicile state.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in risk placement and renewals.
• College degree preferred; professional designations encouraged (CPRM/CPRIA/CISR/CIC/CPCU).
• Strong MS Office skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and interact with clients, partners and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Develop renewal strategies based on client risk profiles and market conditions.
• Negotiate renewal terms with carriers including premiums, deductibles, and coverage.
• Place policies with the most suitable carriers and conduct market analysis.
• Collaborate with sales and service teams to align placement efforts.
• Document renewals, endorsements and client information accurately.
• Handle renewal-related admin tasks and update marketing spreadsheets.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and cross-sell options.
• Build strong relationships with carriers, underwriters and clients.
• Ensure renewals comply with laws/regulations; adopt AI tech when appropriate.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
