Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Placement Specialist to join our growing team. The role manages new business and renewal processes for middle-to-large market accounts, overseeing timelines, exposure analysis, quote specs, coverage terms, and client proposals.

The position requires collaboration with Client Advisors, Account Service Teams, and carrier partners to ensure high-quality service. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in insurance, an applicable license, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; advanced Excel and Word knowledge.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work in a team and provide customer service.
• Experience with broker/agent marketing of large accounts to carriers.
• Solid knowledge of basic insurance coverages.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timeline and process during new business and renewal cycles, including exposure analysis and coverage proposals.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with markets.
• Review policies and contracts; recommend improvements.
• Prepare submissions for new business and renewals with all required documents.
• Analyze prospect data and loss data; develop simple financial models when needed.
• Engage with carrier relationships to support quoting and proposals.
• Ensure licensing compliance and ongoing education.
• Develop and deliver tailored coverage recommendations.
