Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. is seeking a Risk Placement Specialist in Raleigh, NC to support the sales process and retention efforts by delivering reliable marketing support and effective renewal strategies.

You will partner with sales and service teams, negotiate favorable renewal terms, and ensure accurate client documentation to drive growth and client satisfaction. The role requires a Property and Casualty license, 7+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of commercial lines, with

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license is required and must be maintained.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years' experience supporting risk placement initiatives for new and renewal business.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• In-depth understanding of commercial lines of coverage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops a renewal strategy based on client risks, market conditions, and carrier options.
• Negotiates renewal terms with carriers, including premiums and deductibles.
• Conducts market research to identify carriers and products that meet client needs.
• Collaborates with sales and service teams to align placement efforts with objectives.
• Maintains accurate documentation of renewals, endorsements, and client information.
• Handles renewal-related administrative tasks and updates marketing spreadsheets.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and retention with additional coverages or risk management recommendations.
• Builds strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, and clients for smooth renewals.
• Adheres to legal and regulatory requirements governing renewals.
• Adopts innovative technology, including proprietary AI solutions, to improve service quality.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
