Job summary

Relation Insurance Services is seeking a Risk Placement Specialist to support the sales process with accurate marketing support and carrier engagement for favorable renewals. You will renew, place, and optimize policies while maintaining client records and collaborating with teams to meet objectives.

Requirements include a Property and Casualty License, 7 years in risk placement, a degree preferred, and proficiency in Word/PowerPoint/Excel.

Qualifications

Property and Casualty License from state of domicile is required or must be maintained.
Minimum 7 years' experience in supporting risk placement initiatives.
College degree preferred; insurance designations (e.g., CPRM, CPRIA, CISR, CIC, CPCU) valued.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

Develops renewal strategies based on client risk profiles and market conditions.
Negotiates favorable renewal terms with carriers, including premiums and deductibles.
Places policies with suitable carriers and conducts market research for best options.
Collaborates with sales and service teams to align placement with objectives.
Keeps documentation up to date for renewals, endorsements, and client info.
Identifies opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and add coverage options.
Adheres to legal and regulatory requirements and leverages AI tools to improve service.
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
