Kraus-Anderson Incorporated in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Risk Manager to lead the company’s risk management program, advising field and project teams on insurance, surety, claims, and compliance. You will manage COI compliance, coverage placement, and risk reporting to support project needs.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant experience in risk management.
• 5+ years of experience in risk management, insurance, or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the risk management program across the company.
• Oversee COI compliance, coverage management, and subcontractor insurance tracking.
• Lead cross-functional risk issue resolution with legal, operations, and project teams.
• Support prequalification, data tracking, and reporting for risk and claims.
• Provide risk training and guidance to staff to raise awareness.
