Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Associate, Risk Management (US Card) to join the Risk Management team. You will lead risk assessments, provide guidance to business partners, and develop reporting to inform decision making across Card processes.

You will collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to implement governance and improvements, ensuring excellence in risk management practices and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 2 years of financial services or risk management experience.
• At least 2 years of project or process management experience.
• At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal business clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead change control efforts at the process level to ensure impacts are appropriately assessed, documented, and implemented.
• Facilitate the risk assessment process for multiple Card business areas.
• Develop management reporting based on risk assessments.
• Partner with data analysts to iterate and improve risk monitoring and reporting.
• Connect strategic and operational priorities to the changing risk environment.
