Job summary

Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation in Cypress, CA is seeking a Risk & Analytics Manager to lead Strategic Analysis within the Global Risk & Compliance team. The role focuses on portfolio decisions, loss performance, and analytics to optimize global credit operations.

You will manage a team of risk analysts across regions, perform quantitative analysis, implement data mining and ML techniques, and drive strategic initiatives such as scorecards and decision engines.

Qualifications

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics.
• Minimum 3–5 years of working experience.
• Experience in Auto, Motorcycle, or other consumer lending preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of risk and reporting analysts to provide analytical and reporting support to all YMFC departments and regions.
• Lead key business initiatives like strategy design and adjustments, with quantitative and statistical analysis.
• Apply technical ideas to solve business problems and evaluate management strategies.
• Use data mining, approved AI/ML technologies to analyze business performance.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to assess levels of credit risk and provide recommendations.
