Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a Senior/Principal R&D Electrical Engineer for Strategic RF & Electronics Systems, onsite in New Mexico. You will develop qualification plans, interface with diverse engineering groups, and establish documentation to track project history and risk across programs with government partners.

DOE Q clearance is required; a B.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience is needed, with relocation offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Five years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• Current active DOE Q security clearance or DoD Top Secret.

Responsibilities

• Develop tech basis and qualification strategy for product realization.
• Interface with component and systems organizations.
• Establish information management to capture documentation and project history.
• Provide documentation communicating project schedule, budget, and risk with partners.
• Provide regular status updates to management and sponsors.
