Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking a Senior/Principal RF Communications Electrical Engineer for on-site work in New Mexico. You will develop advanced RF systems, analyze circuits, and lead design reviews across multidisciplinary teams in a highly secure environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience (or graduate degree with related research) and the ability to obtain DOE Q and SCI clearances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to electronics and five years of directly relevant experience.
• Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with independent research is preferred.
• Experience applying principles of electronic system design and performing modeling/simulation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and develop RF circuits, subsystems, and modules.
• Capture schematics and PCB layouts; verify designs through simulation and testing.
• Lead conceptual design reviews and system integration efforts.
• Perform laboratory and field testing, analyze data, and document results.
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, software, and algorithm teams.
