Job summary

MRI Software is seeking a Revenue, Technical Accounting & Policy Senior Manager to lead a global team responsible for revenue recognition, technical accounting and accounting policy. You will govern significant revenue accounting judgements and support complex commercial arrangements, financial reporting and the overall control environment.

The ideal candidate has CPA credentials and 8+ years of experience, with demonstrated ASC 606/IFRS15 expertise in SaaS or recurring revenue contracts, strong

Qualifications

• CPA qualification.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including post-qualification work.
• Experience applying ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15 to software or recurring‑revenue contracts.
• Ability to research accounting guidance and produce high‑quality technical papers.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for technical and procedural challenges.
• Experience leading workstreams and mentoring others.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong Excel and financial systems capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue recognition governance for complex customer arrangements.
• Own and maintain revenue recognition framework across all revenue types.
• Review and challenge conclusions of the revenue accounting team with Finance Transformation.
• Approve revenue accounting adjustments from contracts and controls.
• Collaborate with Sales and Legal to optimize revenue outcomes.
• Own group accounting policy and ensure policy consistency across regions.
• Research complex accounting matters and provide clear guidance to stakeholders.
