You will help strengthen revenue control processes, ensure consistency in accounting conclusions, and serve as a key partner to Sales, Legal, and senior finance stakeholders.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a Revenue, Technical Accounting & Policy Senior Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will oversee complex revenue accounting judgments, technical policy interpretation, and the review of unusual customer arrangements within a fast-moving software and SaaS environment. You will help strengthen revenue control processes, ensure consistency in accounting conclusions, and serve as a key partner to Sales, Legal, and senior finance stakeholders. The position also includes ownership of accounting policy documentation and leadership of a newly established global team supporting technical revenue matters.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the review of unusual customer arrangements for revenue recognition
• Maintain the revenue recognition framework across various revenue types
• Challenge conclusions of the revenue accounting team to ensure accuracy
• Approve revenue accounting adjustments from contract reviews and assessments
• Partner with Sales and Legal teams for optimal revenue outcomes
• Own and update the group accounting policy manual for consistency
• Research complex accounting matters and provide guidance to stakeholders

Qualifications

• CPA professional qualification required
• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, including substantial post-qualification experience
• Experience applying ASC 606 and/or IFRS 15 to software and SaaS contracts
• Ability to produce high-quality technical papers for senior management and audits
• Strong problem‑solving skills for technical and procedural challenges
• Experience leading significant workstreams and managing others' work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
