Job summary

TIAA in Frisco, Texas is seeking an Institutional Consultant to provide inbound/outbound call center support for plan sponsors, advising on retirement plan design and education. You will consult with third-party advisors on lifetime income solutions and help navigate regulatory matters including Form 5500 filings.

The ideal candidate has strong client relationship skills, 2+ years in financial services, FINRA licenses (6/63) and an active Life/Health license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in financial services.
• FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.
• Life and Health Insurance License (Resident State) - Multiple Issuers required

Responsibilities

• Participates in training programs as a contributor or presenter on Planfocus topics and institutional tools.
• Builds and maintains plan sponsor relationships advising on retirement plan design and participation.
• Provides consultative guidance for plan sponsors, consultants, payroll vendors, auditors and legal counsel.
• Interfaces with key influencers to discuss fiduciary responsibilities and regulations.
• Educates plan sponsors about plan design, governance, compliance, audits, nondiscrimination testing, reporting and amendments.
• Consults on Form 5500 filings, compliance issues, fiduciary and audit guidelines, plan reporting and testing.
• Provides audit support and assists with retirement plan tax inquiries.
• Proactively engages top tier Primary Market clients to build relationships and promote products.
• Troubleshoots online services administrator access and resolves plan issues.
