Job summary

Farmers National Bank of Canfield is seeking an experienced professional to review, analyze and amend defined contribution plans, and to prepare summary plan descriptions, reports and recommendations. The role also includes preparing government filings, client presentations, and related loan documents and amortization schedules.

The successful candidate will reconcile plan assets, run compliance tests, and maintain communication with clients and advisors to ensure accurate reporting and timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years' experience with defined contribution plans preferred.
• Basic math and/or accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Compile data to produce quarterly, semi-annual or annual allocation reports.
• Reconcile plan assets for valuation periods.
• Develop and implement plan amendments as necessary.
• Update plan specifications and allocate contributions and earnings.
• Prepare IRS Form 5500 and related schedules; file forms electronically.
• Prepare loan documents and amortization schedules; track repayments.
• Maintain contact with clients, accountants, attorneys and brokers; respond to questions.
• Prepare special studies for current or prospective clients.
