Job summary

Fifth Third Bank seeks an experienced Retirement Plan Consultant to serve as the primary liaison for national and regional institutional retirement plan clients. You will provide regulatory and legislative updates, advise on plan design and fiduciary considerations, and help manage scope with internal service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
• Ten years of relevant ERISA plan experience.
• ASPPA certification including QKA and QKC is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned national and regional institutional retirement plan clients.
• Provide industry, regulatory, and legislative updates affecting client plans.
• Advise on plan design, compliance, and service-provider product developments.
• Maintain and retain an assigned book of business using fiduciary oversight best practices.
• Coordinate employee education campaigns with client service providers.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for benefit plan consulting and related services.
• Review client plan features, demographics, and recommend qualifying actions.
• Document client interactions in the CRM system.
• Lead or participate in special projects and support product rollouts.
