Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in Monroe, LA is seeking a Business Analyst to translate business needs into IT solutions, driving standardization and simplification across key systems. You will act as a liaison between business units and IT, and guide projects through the SDLC from requirements to deployment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, perform data analysis, develop functional designs, and support production systems including incident resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related field with 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to effectively work with both technical staff and business process owners.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, and teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SQL, business process modeling.
• Travel Required: Up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Leads and conducts design, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and support of strategic projects utilizing the SDLC.
• Participates in the deployment of IT solutions including requirements gathering, system configuration, data cleansing/conversion, training, and deployment.
• Assists with developing functional designs (FDDs) including data model, interfaces, and security requirements; gets stakeholder approval.
• Performs System Testing and tracks issues identified through resolution.
• Develops user acceptance test plans and test scenarios; manages UAT execution and reports results.
• Production support for various systems, including analysis and resolution of ServiceNow incidents.
• Manages requirements and functional design through lifecycle; documents changes and creates training procedures.
• Leads and documents system requirements on assigned projects; reports status to Project Manager.
• Liaison between end-users and IT for analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance of information systems.
• Contributes to process and organizational continuous improvements.
