Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Leasing Manager to drive site selection, due diligence, and lease negotiations for a growing retail portfolio spanning 1,000+ locations across 15 states and Washington DC. You will collaborate with brokers, legal counsel, and internal teams to optimize our real estate strategy and ensure brand standards.

The role requires strong financial acumen, advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% as we expand the portfolio in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required
• Master's Degree preferred
• Corporate real estate designations (MCR, QPCR, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead site selection process for new locations and relocations.
• Perform due diligence with brokers and architects to assess viability and adherence to Citizens' brand and standards.
• Negotiate leases in collaboration with legal counsel and brokers, aligning terms with business strategy and risk tolerance.
• Articulate business terms and financial impact for modeling and business cases.
• Coordinate with internal design and construction partners to ensure smooth transition from leasing to permitting and construction.
• Communicate status and drivers of site search and lease progress to business line stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% of time to support site visits and negotiations.
