Job summary

Vulcan Industries is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join our Sales and Marketing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with retailers and CPG companies, building strategic relationships and driving revenue growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business development, sales, or account management in retail display or related industries.
• Ability to present to executive-level decision-makers.
• Experience working cross-departmentally and independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong proposal experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new business opportunities with retailers and CPG companies.
• Develop and execute strategic prospecting and lead generation activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and prospective customers.
• Lead customers through the design and development process with internal teams.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Manage the sales cycle from contact through contract award and project completion.
• Communicate customer requirements through CRM and internal processes.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service for delivery.
• Maintain regular activity reporting and pipeline management.
• Represent Vulcan Industries at meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
