Job summary

Fry’s Food Stores, part of The Kroger Company, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead store construction projects in Arizona. You will oversee budget adherence, deadlines, and serve as the company’s representative on site, coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication to support Remodeling, New Builds, and Fuel projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, construction management or related field.
• 5+ years of construction management experience or related area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage resources for a cost-effective project within scope and budget.
• Prepare requisitions for major equipment, fixtures and supply items.
• Receive proposals, review documents and award contracts for remodels.
• Ensure contractors perform per plans and specifications.
• Provide documentation throughout the construction process.
• Coordinate remodel activities to minimize sales and EBITDA loss.
• Train department members on tasks and supervise direct reports.
