Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Phoenix is seeking a Refrigeration Construction Foreman to oversee field operations for supermarket refrigeration installations on new store builds and remodels.

You will lead tradespeople, interpret blueprints, manage schedules, ensure safety and quality, and provide updates to project managers while maintaining strong communication with clients and leaders. Travel up to 75% may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years' relevant experience of leading and directing commercial refrigeration installations on jobsites.
• Valid State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and direct tradesmen for supermarket refrigeration installations.
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
• Develop and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines and weather challenges.
• Provide project status updates to project managers and construction leadership.
• Uphold safety standards and high-quality workmanship on all projects.
• Interpret blueprints, conduct material takeoffs, and procure necessary supplies.
• Train and mentor lower-level construction team members across multiple trades.
