Job summary

Sysco is seeking an Account Executive to manage and grow relationships with mass-market retail customers, including grocery retailers, in Laurel, MD with local/national travel. The role focuses on helping FreshPoint customers succeed while meeting sales and profit goals.

Key duties include account management, increasing share of wallet, and leveraging CRM tools to track opportunities and maintain data. Travel is covered by the company as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; driving license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with mass-market retail customers, including grocery retailers; develop new accounts.
• Maintain customer order guides, LTOs, Red Alerts and other docs for FreshPoint CMU HOME team.
• Utilize Sysco 360 CRM for account management, opportunity tracking and data logging.
• Provide training and product information to customers; answer questions on prices, availability and uses.
