The American Heart Association in Dallas, TX is seeking a Program Coordinator on the Strategic Research Team for a 12‑month temporary assignment. The role blends administrative and technical support, focusing on awards management and day‑to‑day operations in a hybrid office setting.

You will conduct data quality reviews, help investigators and institutional officers understand policies, and assist with grant agreements, activation, and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum three years related experience.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills.
• Able to communicate information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience with databases and electronic reporting tools.
• Attention to detail; strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide administrative and technical support to the strategic research awards team.
• Conduct data quality reviews and ensure compliance with policies.
• Manage award notifications, grant agreements, and activation processes.
• Oversee awards for compliance with AHA policies and procedures.
• Support special projects, scheduling, and applicant webinars.
