Job summary

McLane in Temple, TX is seeking a Replenishment Manager to lead inventory and service level strategies across divisions. You will oversee a replenishment team, optimize purchase orders, and partner with suppliers to ensure in-stock levels and efficient flow.

The role requires a BS in Business, strong leadership, and proficiency with merchandising systems and MS Office. You will report on KPIs, mentor Buyers, and help drive company initiatives while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Business or related major.
• Knowledge of McLane merchandising systems, online or demand reports.
• Experience with PC data base and word processing programs.
• Procurement knowledge and experience required.
• Possess complete P&L understanding and comprehension.
• Retail experience and/or understanding.
• Strong leadership/coaching skills.
• Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation, organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at required level.

Responsibilities

• Manage and report on KPIs including turn inventory, inbound fill rate, outbound service level and aged inventory.
• Lead a replenishment team responsible for purchasing inventory while maintaining key metrics.
• Develop season strategies in collaboration with replenishment and sales teams.
• Manage inventory levels and flow of purchase orders for receiving, storage, picking, and loading.
• Communicate with suppliers, brokers, customers, and McLane divisions to align activities.
• Mentor Buyers and Sr Buyers and support department initiatives.
• Act as sponsor for divisions and drive process consistency and training.
