Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Lakewood, WA is seeking an Inventory Control Manager to maintain inventory levels across the center and coordinate with reclamation and accounts payable teams.

You will lead efforts to ensure system stability, support development projects, and assist merchandising with inventory pickups to win new business. This role requires organization, detail orientation, and teamwork in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related major required.
• Minimum prior grocery procurement experience of 3 years required.
• Minimum 1 year procurement management experience required.
• Transportation experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with merchandising systems: DCS2000, SSYO, INFOPAC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong reading/writing English for job tasks and safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Manage reclamation processes with third party staff, reclamation centers, and MBIS related to data feeds and timing.
• Maintain system stability; diagnose issues, determine training vs. systems problems, and implement solutions.
• Participate in project development: meetings, requirements, testing, endorsement, and deployment.
