The onsite position offers standard 40-hour weeks and requires analyzing data to optimize inventory and supplier performance while supporting the company’s distribution network in North America.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of buying, planning, sales, and allocation responsibilities.
• Experience with procurement practices and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Excel, other Microsoft Office products, and Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Review, maintain, and forecast inventory levels to meet targeted fill rates.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality service and longevity of relationships.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure superior service to customers and the sales team.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external partners in a timely manner.
• Manage system parameters to ensure accurate order placement.
• Identify and resolve inventory conditions to avoid spoilage and aging inventory.
• Develop supplier performance metrics and goals relevant to each supplier.
• Manage Fill-rate, DCOS, and Expiration reports for assigned commodities.
• Provide analysis and recommendations on relevant products.
• Participate in seasonal planning and implementation.
• Monitor market trends and developments.
• Prepare records related to buying and inventory activities.
• Travel when required for the position.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
