Job summary

Buchheit Family of Companies in Missouri is seeking a detail-oriented Buying/Replenishment professional to maintain inventory levels for our Distribution Center and retail locations, manage reorders, and support ad promotions. You will collate purchase orders, send supplier PO requests, review stock levels, and ensure timely deliveries with vendors.

The role reports to the Merchant Manager and involves cross-functional collaboration, vendor communication, and accurate reporting to prevent

• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator who thrives on solving problems in a team environment.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Able to multi-task and have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
• Ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-pasted environment and be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Experience in Buying or Replenishment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collate purchase orders and purchase requisitions in order to procure materials, goods and supplies.
• Send purchase orders to appropriate suppliers.
• Review inventories and order as required.
• Interact with the suppliers on a day to day basis.
• Review deliveries against provided orders and report on vendor accuracy.
• Obtain confirmations and verify order accuracy prior to shipments.
• Tracking of orders and adherence to schedule ETA’s (estimated time of arrival).
• Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.
• Ensure that any invoices are sent to accounts for payment.
• Produce and maintain all required reports.
• Assist procurement activities including RFP’s (Request For Proposals).
• Facilitate and direct vendor maintenance.
• Undertake all relevant filing as required.
• Maintain any diaries that are required by department.
• Attend meetings as necessary.
• Provide support to Retail locations as required for sourcing resolution.
• Maintain proficiency on all required operating systems
