Job summary

Vandalia Rental in Indianapolis seeks an accomplished Branch Manager to lead daily operations, safety, and quality at our Trench Safety Rental branch. You will drive branch performance, foster teamwork, and strengthen customer relationships to support growth and exceptional service.

The role requires leadership experience, rental industry familiarity, and a track record of delivering operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience required.
• Equipment Rental experience highly preferred, trench safety is a plus.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with RentalMan and Salesforce a plus.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Lift up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, including maintenance, logistics, safety and quality to achieve branch and organizational goals.
• Maintain a safe environment for all team members, customers and vendors.
• Be an exceptional leader for your team. Build and develop a high performing team connected to other branches through training, development, coaching, accountability and regular performance reviews.
• Oversee timely, high-quality repair and preventative maintenance of all equipment.
• Oversee logistics efficiency, dispatching drivers, and routing trucks.
• Establish and communicate quality expectations; ensure quality expectations are met; and oversee quality audits.
• Identify, facilitate, and drive process improvements.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers to ensure exceptional customer service; work with customers to resolve problems and issues.
