Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager in Indianapolis, IN. You will lead a major equipment rental operation, hire and motivate a team across sales, service, maintenance, and drivers, and ensure exceptional customer service.

You’ll build a profitable location using your business and leadership skills, ambition and competitive drive. This role requires strong leadership, a solid sales background, and the ability to manage safety, budgets, and daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Minimum 5 years of business management experience with P&L responsibility
• Strong sales and customer service experience required
• Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage overall branch operations to ensure safety, productivity, customer service and profitability
• Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives
• Prepare reports including profit and loss statements, monthly operating reviews, yearly budgets and other status reports
• Manage personnel matters
• Oversee safety matters including audits, training, OSHA, DOT, and drug/alcohol testing
• Other duties assigned as needed
