Job summary

The Andersons, Inc. is seeking a Renewables Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator for our Denison, TX plant.

You will oversee purchasing of critical goods, manage purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure product availability while driving inventory optimization and working capital objectives. Ideal candidates are highly organized, analytical, and proactive with strong supplier relationship skills and experience in inventory management and procurement systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Inventory and warehousing management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Purchases complex/critical goods and materials
• Issues PO’s, manage and resolve issues regarding PO to invoice discrepancies, returns or quality problems with suppliers
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure availability of products; proactively find solutions, resources for supply shortages and communicate effectively to teams
• Responsible for exploring new products, materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery
• Establish procedures and maintains inventory levels
• Collaborate with other plant procurement departments to optimize inventory levels to manage working capital
• Plant resource to provide training and support to department personnel on company purchasing policies, procedures, and systems
