Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Relationship Associate to manage client relationships, coordinate KYC processes, and connect clients to Citi’s global network and local product support.

This role blends strategic advisory with hands-on execution across regulatory and credit processes. You will onboard new clients, support due diligence, identify revenue opportunities, and ensure compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in relationship management or cash management.
• Knowledge of Cash Management and Treasury products.
• Strong pipeline and client relationship skills.
• Experience with Salesforce/CRM and MS Office suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with client network and internal teams to be the primary contact for requests and issue resolution.
• Ensures timely completion of KYC and regulatory requirements with product partners and RMs.
• Helps clients access Citi’s global network and local coverage.
• Onboards new clients and subsidiaries; completes KYC/credit set-ups.
• Coordinates due diligence for credit approvals and closings.
• Identifies revenue opportunities with product partners and clients.
• Ensures regular client discussions are held and documented.
• Maintains correct client hierarchies; collaborates with Credit Admin on credit docs.
• Monitors credit line usage; supports annual reviews with risk.
• Assists in cash transaction implementations for bankers.
• Assesses risk and ensures compliance with laws and Citi policies.
