Job summary

Citi Commercial Bank is seeking a Director, Mid-Corp Relationship Manager for Business & Professional Services in a hybrid role in Los Angeles. The position drives client solutions, oversees credit relationships, and ensures compliance with Citi policies while expanding the client base.

The candidate should have 15+ years in commercial banking, FINRA licensing, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in commercial banking and relationship management.
• FINRA Licensing - SIE, Series 63 & 79.
• Strong knowledge of commercial banking products, credit processes and risk management.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.
• Ability to manage multi-functional teams and drive client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation on client solutions through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts.
• Execute strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels (Group, Bank, commercial market and EIB).
• Oversee the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process and ensuring proper policy application.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies/guidelines at all times.
• Actively call on clients to deepen relationships and proactively identify future needs and risks, while pursuing new clients.
• Assess risk with attention to the firm's reputation and escalate, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
