Citigroup Inc. in Los Angeles is seeking a Mid-Corp Relationship Manager to drive strategic client relationships in commercial banking, combining risk-aware credit expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, senior-level negotiation, and a track record of managing complex credit deals while ensuring regulatory compliance and a superior client experience.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of experience in commercial banking or related field.
• FINRA licensing SIE, Series 63 and 79 (current or ability to obtain).
• Strong credit knowledge and ability to structure credit deals.
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
• Ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation on client solutions through partnerships with product specialists and subject matter experts.
• Execute strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels (Group, Bank, commercial market and EIB).
• Oversee the credit relationship of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process, ensuring proper application of policies and processes.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Citi's policies and guidelines at all times.
• Proactively deepen relationships and pursue new clients aligned with Citi Commercial Bank's value proposition.
• Assess risk when decisions are made and escalate control issues with transparency.
