Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a proactive client service specialist to develop and expand client relationships and deliver financial solutions through consultative conversations and referrals to other business partners.

The role includes cross-training to perform teller duties when needed, supporting branch sales targets by presenting deposit, credit and retirement products, and maintaining compliance with internal controls while delivering a high‑quality, friendly client experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 4 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• SAFE compliance within 30 days; NMLS background check required.
• Ability to multi-task and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine client maintenance requests, resolve problems, and handle advanced sales functions for deposits, credit, and other product lines.
• Contribute to meeting or exceeding client service and branch sales targets by offering products and expanding relationships.
• Support branch sales process by consulting with clients and referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Advise on consumer lending options and take loan applications.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures, and risk management policies.
• Lead sales initiatives within the branch and act as an expert resource.
• Provide professional client service with courteous interactions during transactions and needs discovery.
