Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Regional Project Controls Lead for Infrastructure in the US North Central region, based in Minneapolis, MN. You will oversee regional project controls, partner with delivery and growth leaders, and help shape a consistent framework across business centers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive governance, manage portfolio performance, and develop capability programs while collaborating with senior executives to translate complex portfolio data into clear actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in project controls, project accounting, finance, project management, or related field.
• Proven ability to lead teams and influence senior leaders across a broad portfolio.
• Advanced understanding of Earned Value Management, gross margin, forecasting, and portfolio governance.
• Experience leading organizational change and building regional operating practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls teams across the assigned region and coordinate with regional leaders.
• Partner with regional leaders on portfolio margin, risk, and performance initiatives.
• Review regional reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for action.
• Monitor regional performance and address margin impacts with Finance and Operations.
• Develop and implement the Project Controls framework, standards, and processes.
• Provide guidance on governance, staffing, and implementation for regional leaders.
• Lead change management and capability development across the region.
• Promote cross-region collaboration and share lessons learned.
