Job summary

Stantec seeks a Regional Project Controls Lead for the US North Central region. You will guide Project Controls teams, influence senior leaders, and drive portfolio governance and capability development across multiple business centers.

You will own regional controls frameworks, monitor performance metrics, and lead changes to enhance margins, forecasting, and escalation processes. The role calls for strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 10+ years of progressive experience in project controls, finance, or related field.
• Proven track record leading teams and influencing senior leaders across a broad portfolio.
• Deep knowledge of Earned Value Management, gross margin, forecasting, and portfolio governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Project Controls teams regionally and align priorities with leaders.
• Collaborate on portfolio margin, resourcing, and performance initiatives.
• Review regional reporting to identify trends and escalate risks.
• Participate in financial forums and provide concise recommendations to leadership.
• Monitor regional project performance and coordinate with Finance to address issues.
• Develop and implement the Project Controls framework and processes across the region.
• Provide guidance on governance, staffing, and implementation to regional leaders.
• Drive change management and cross-regional collaboration to share best practices.
