Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Finance leader to manage plant financial reporting and P&L across multiple Berry plants in the United States. You will partner with the Plant Manager and VP of Operations to identify profitability improvements and drive cost reductions while maintaining SOX compliance.

The role oversees annual budgeting, capital planning for maintenance, and monthly forecasting, offering a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing.
• Prior experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards) and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley as related to manufacturing accounting.
• Capability to build/maintain excellent rapport with management staff at each facility.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant financial reporting and P&L for multiple Berry plants.
• Work closely with Plant Manager & V.P. of Operations for profitability improvements.
• Drive improved financial performance by increasing sales and reducing costs.
• Ensure the facilities are Sarbanes Oxley compliant.
• Manage annual budget process.
• Capital planning for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects.
• Understand and implement best practices.
• Complete monthly financial reporting requirements.
• Provide accurate monthly financial forecasts.
