Job summary

Amcor in Ohio seeks a Regional Controller to ensure plant results comply with GAAP and to work with Plant Management, Operations, Product Line Management and Sales to boost profitability.

The role covers monthly reporting, annual budgeting, SOX compliance, and capital planning across Berry plants, with incentives and comprehensive benefits. Strong manufacturing and ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing.
• Prior experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards) and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley related to manufacturing accounting.
• Ability to build rapport with management staff at each facility.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage plant financial reporting and P&L responsibilities for multiple Berry plants.
• Collaborate with Plant Manager & VP of Operations to improve profitability.
• Drive improved financial performance by increasing sales and reducing costs.
• Ensure facilities are Sarbanes Oxley compliant.
• Manage annual budget process.
• Capital planning for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects.
• Understand and implement best practices.
• Complete monthly financial reporting requirements.
• Provide accurate monthly financial forecasts.
