NHS Supply Chain is seeking seven Regional Leads to join a national Modernisation Programme. You will connect frontline NHS Trust experience with national strategy, guiding design and supporting implementation of solutions that improve consistency and patient care across England and Wales.

These two-year external secondments require strong NHS procurement insight, stakeholder influence, and a track record of delivering improvements.

Qualifications

• Deep, practical experience of supply chain and procurement within NHS Trust environments.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across organisational boundaries and senior leaders.
• Proven capability to drive process improvements and standardisation within a healthcare setting.

Responsabilités

• Act as the key link between your region’s Trusts and the national programme to ensure frontline perspectives are reflected in decision-making.
• Identify variation and opportunities across Trusts, turning real-world insight into improvements at a national level.
• Represent your region in governance and workshops, bringing Trust voices into future supply chain design.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues to prepare for and support workshops, ensuring practical realities shape discussions.
• Help design and embed consistent processes and data standards to reduce variation and improve efficiency.
• Support Trusts through change, readiness, implementation and adoption of new processes.
