Job summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking an experienced refinery planning professional to lead STOP stewardship, oil flow planning, and inventory optimization. You will act as the primary interface between refinery operations and regional planning, ensuring execution aligns with approved operating plans.

The role requires eight years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree, and a strong ability to communicate economic priorities while coordinating with operations, engineering, and planning teams.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required.
• Eight years of on-the-job refinery operations, process engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Owns refinery operating assumptions, constraints, and opportunities for in-month and out-month operations.
• Identifies, evaluates, and communicates the impact of refinery constraints, risks, and opportunities on plans.
• Coordinates with Operations, Engineering, and other refinery personnel to align operating plans and priorities.
• Provides refinery operating assumptions, constraints, opportunities, and inventory outlooks to support planning.
• Participates in Regional Planning discussions representing refinery capabilities and risks.
• Owns STOP communication, implementation and stewardship.
• Communicates economic priorities and optimization opportunities to support execution of plans.
• Performs economic/operational evaluations to support decisions and constraint mitigation.
• Develops refinery inventory targets and coordinates actions to optimize envelopes.
• Develops and maintains refinery outage, turnaround and contingency oil flow plans.
