Job summary

Mid-State Machine is seeking a Recruiting Manager to lead talent acquisition and workforce development. You will oversee a high-volume 30–40 requisition workload, supervise two HR Assistants, and partner with Operations and Workforce Planning to anticipate labor needs and create apprenticeship pathways.

The role emphasizes building regional pipelines, stakeholder collaboration, and adopting AI-powered recruiting technologies while ensuring full-cycle recruitment across multiple sites in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive recruiting experience in heavy industrial maintenance.
• Experience managing high-volume workloads across regions and multiple positions.
• Experience recruiting skilled trades and technical personnel.
• Supervisory or team-leadership experience.
• Knowledge of Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead full recruiting lifecycle for 30–40 active requisitions across units and locations.
• Develop proactive recruiting strategies and workforce development partnerships.
• Source candidates via job boards, networks, institutions, apprenticeships, and referrals.
• Oversee candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination.
• Track recruiting KPIs and report results to leadership.
• Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Workforce Planning on labor needs and pipelines.
