Harris County, through the Office of the County Engineer, seeks a Real Property Director to lead real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leases for OCE. This role drafts and negotiates complex agreements and ensures alignment with County objectives.

The Director will manage due diligence, appraisals, and title reviews, while guiding a high-performing team and coordinating with engineers, legal, and external partners on infrastructure projects.

Formación

• Education and experience at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience in real estate transactions or related management.
• Five years of supervisory/leadership experience in real estate.

Responsabilidades

• Provides strategic leadership and oversight of real estate programs including easements and rights-of-way.
• Directs negotiations, purchases, sales, and leases; approves key terms.
• L serves as liaison with officials, owners, developers, and counsel.
• Guides due diligence, appraisals, title reviews, and valuations.
• Develops and mentors a high-performing real estate team and oversees parking operations.
