Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector’s Office seeks an experienced Director of Facilities and Capital Projects to oversee facilities operations across HCTO locations, reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, business admin, engineering, construction management, operations management, or related field.
• 5-7 years of progressively responsible facilities management/operations experience.
• Experience managing multiple facilities and concurrent projects.
• Experience managing contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Experience with capital improvement, renovation, construction, or relocation projects.
• Experience supervising staff and managing budgets.

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations, preventive maintenance, and service delivery across facilities portfolio.
• Manage facility assets, inventory, lifecycle planning, and maintenance requirements.
• Lead construction, renovation, space implementation, and capital improvement projects.
• Coordinate capital projects across locations and distribution center.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders on schedules and readiness.
• Manage relocations, space changes, and furniture/equipment moves.
• Oversee distribution center/warehouse facility operations and vendor contracts.
