Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Transaction Manager to oversee downsize lease amendments, subleases, and related documents for stores, distribution centers, and offices. The role requires strong legal acumen to analyze leases, waivers, and restrictive covenants, plus negotiation with landlords.

The position supports title review, reports to the Legal Team, and may supervise Legal Specialists. A paralegal certification and 5–10 years’ real estate experience at a retailer or law firm are

Formación

• Requires Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a paralegal certificate.
• 5-10 years of experience with real estate and title matters, including sales and acquisitions.
• Advanced understanding of real estate documents and ability to review them independently.
• Experience with real estate transactions beyond leasing, including coordinating documentation and closing sales and acquisitions.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; document management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Review and prepare detailed lease-related documents for downsize and other transactions.
• Analyze LOIs for downsize and sublease deals; support leadership and counsel in negotiations.
• Draft and negotiate lease amendments, letters, and other deal modifications with landlords.
• Track status of downsize projects and coordinate with Construction to document delays and respond to landlord claims.
• Collaborate with Attorneys and Legal Specialists to produce SOPs and standardized forms.
