Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Transaction Manager to oversee downsize lease amendments, subleases, consents, waivers, and related documents for retail stores, distribution centers, and offices. The role requires reviewing title and transaction docs, negotiating subordination agreements, and drafting landlord communications.

You will manage a legal team, coordinate with construction partners, and drive timely completion of transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a paralegal certificate.
• 5–10 years of experience with real estate and title matters, including sales and acquisitions.
• Advanced understanding of real estate documents and the ability to review and analyze them independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with real estate transactions beyond leasing, including coordinating documentation and closing sales and acquisitions.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare detailed lease-related documents and amendments.
• Analyze LOIs for downsize and sublease deals; support AMC/AMEC.
• Draft and negotiate lease amendments and other deal modifications with landlords.
• Track project status; coordinate with Construction and landlords on delays and delivery issues.
• Collaborate to create standardized forms and SOPs for lease processes.
• Oversee documentation for transactions to ensure timely completion and correctness.
