Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking a Portfolio Strategist to oversee AMER transaction strategies from city to org level within Global Real Estate & Facilities.

The role will lead prioritization and present strategic insights on leases, builds, moves, consolidations, and closures to GREF decision makers and senior leaders for alignment. The ideal candidate will align real estate strategy with business needs, partner with key stakeholders, and use reporting and analytics to drive data-based decisions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of property management, asset management, portfolio management and/or real estate financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with a wide range of teams including Amazon Business Orgs, Regional Portfolio Management, Occupancy Planning, Design and Construction, IT, Security, Workplace, Finance and Facilities.
• Lead the creation of city-wide strategy plans for major metro areas and develop portfolio plans that align to business goals, growth projections, customer needs, and market trends.
• Oversee supply and demand by city and design portfolio strategy scenarios to identify approaches that best align with business goals.
• Identify opportunities and provide guidance to optimize space for all orgs within the existing portfolio and new acquisitions.
• Effectively prioritize work efforts across vendor partner contingency.
• Effectively manage cross-functional engagement with the city, internal stakeholders, and customers to drive coordination of efforts.
