Amazon is seeking an experienced Principal, Portfolio Strategy for the GOES-PM team to drive global portfolio optimization. The role focuses on lease renewals strategy, data-driven analysis, and cross‑team collaboration with GOES and BU customers to unlock value in Amazon’s real estate network.

The successful candidate will lead negotiations, develop dashboards, and provide strategic recommendations across North America and beyond, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Real Estate or related field
• Knowledge of lifecycle of physical assets and capital improvements
• +7 years experience in real estate or similar field
• Experience managing large multi‑stakeholder projects with high visibility and time pressure
• Ability to influence and lead teams to deliver transactional results
• Understanding of financial analysis and real estate valuation including DCF models

Responsabilités

• Drive global lease renewal strategy and negotiating positions
• Coordinate with GOES and BU customers to analyze renewal strategy by BU
• Negotiate bulk and BU renewals
• Support lease renewals in North America with data integration and dashboards
• Lead BU customers to optimize portfolio and renewal decisions
• Develop datasets and analytics on buildings, launches, renewals and space utilization
• Communicate strategic implications of real estate decisions
• Contribute to opportunistic transactions leveraging building network
• Navigate ambiguity to provide clear recommendations to stakeholders
