Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Real Estate Manager for a Class A office property. You will balance tenant and owner relations, oversee budgeting and financial reporting, and manage risk in line with professional ethics.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or comparable experience) and at least five years in commercial property management, with proficiency in Yardi or MRI and strong communication and analytical skills. This is a full-time on-site position in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience in Business, Economics or Real Estate.
• Minimum five years experience in Commercial Property management.
• Competent computer literacy, including experience with Yardi, MRI, property management systems, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage annual budgets for approval by owner; monitor adherence to meet owner financial expectations and adherence to management agreement and operating agreements.
• Monitor competitive bidding, hiring and supervision of vendors and subcontractors
• Schedule regular property inspections to target areas for improvement and to identify risk management issues
• Meet monthly reporting deadlines with well-executed narrative and variance explanation
• Create and anticipate opportunities for increasing revenue
